                      Prairie kingsnake (Lampropeltis calligaster calligaster). That's a gorgeous one, I absolutely love these snakes. What county is it from?

                      They're harmless and rarely bite. They have neon green musk that they exude to deter predators, it doesn't stink as bad as many snakes. And, they're very fossorial so they're rarely seen on the surface, so you're lucky to have found one!
