    Covert TC + Hog Trap

The piggies at my new ranch have been lucky in evading my last several attempts to catch them at my feeder, despite me having pics of them there almost every night...I'm beginning to think something I'm doing (scent, etc) is cueing them in when I'm there.

I'm mulling over getting one of those Covert cameras that use a cell signal, and just pointing it at a freshly baited hog trap, so I can just get a ding on my phone when it's time to go collect pork.

Has anyone else done this before? Thoughts?

It works. There are also hog traps out there that are all setup with cell so you can remotely trigger the trap to close when you see pigs are in it.

They have spies amongst us!!!! I can look at my hog's schedule at the feeder, and it shows they are there every night between 8 & midnight--like 14 days straight. I go climb into the stand and they are no-shows. They watch my truck and if they see me put my bow in the truck, they text their buddies to watch out.

EXACTLY!!! They show every night between 8pm-1am, and then the evening I go, I get there at 6pm, and sit around quiet as a church mouse - ANY THEY DON'T SHOW!!
