Are any Ladies of the TBH doing operation orphan this year? They may still have room for guides if anyone wants to help out. This year it is Oct 25-27.

Do a Goggle search on Operation Orphan in Mason Tx. They have a website that should answer all your questions. It's really a neat deal, if you have a chance to do it, do so. It's very rewarding.Originally posted by BowGal View PostComment

This will be my 3rd year. it is my favorite hunting day of the year!! We always have so much fun with the girls and they get some time in the woods. Sometimes you get one who has done this before, other times its their first time shooting at an animal/gun. Wish they would do more than 1 girls hunt.Comment

Well I sent in my background check to be a guide for the girls hunt. Hope I get to do it! Think this is such an amazing thing and a great way to give back! Hats off to all you ladies that have been doing this for these young girls. Y'all are some great role models they can look up to!Comment

Not sure, I always take a kid that doesn't come with a group to a small piece of land. But no one hunts that land except operation orphan kidsComment

Dusty Britches and Pistol are going this year. The three of us are going to carpool along with another guide, would that be you Camoquest? Should be a blast.
10mmWendell: we don't know what ranch we will be sent to until the night before. We got sent to a very nice ranch last year and the host's were awesome. even took the girls to an old indian sight at mid day to give the guides a few minutes of shut eye!!
It was a hike from Mason to 20 minutes south of Senora but would be happy to go again this year. I have not been to the same ranch twice, but my first year they sent me with one of the long term guides.
