European Mount Question???

I just got my skulls back from Chad(txtechbowhunter) and I have my plaques but I don't know how to attach them. I want it to look as clean as possible.

Please help..pics if you have them....

i use screws. screw them into from the back of plaques into the skull. i always start with small pilot holes so i dont spit the wood or skull.

Should have told me that when I was there and I could have showed you what I do.

I use a 4" 1/8" Toggle bolt. Drill a hole big enough into the brain cavity from the bottom of the skull for the toggle part to fit through. Drill an 1/8 hole in the plaque and run the toggle bolt through it into the skull. It makes it easy to center up the skull while you tighten it down.

If this doesn't make sense, I can take a picture when I get back to Lubbock.

BTW, I sent you a PM but you never responded. Where did you say you got those plaques from? Was it your taxidermist? If so, what is his number. I want to get one of those mesquite plaques.

Sir, I use dry wall screw. Get one long eniugh to go thru plaque and into the dense part of the skull. Like others said drill a pilot hole in skull first.
