I have a newfound hatred for those little bloodsuckers after contracting West Nile virus early this summer. It took me about 6 weeks to get back to feeling normal! KAM!!!

So whats y'alls opinion as far as thermalcell's being detected by animals in a ground blind? Haven't used one yet but headed out tomorrow.

They work great and I have never had an animal spook from one that I can attribute to the thermacel.
HOWEVER DO NOT PUT IT IN THE GROUND BLIND WITH YOU! That sucker will fumigate you! I sit mine just outside my DB blind on the upwind side and it works just fine from there. Some of my buddies put theirs on top of their blind with good results too.

I've ran my therms cell in the ground blind before. It does get strong but I'd rather have that than Mosquitos.

Yep, they are worth the money.
I've used it at the house, beach, vacation and outdoor parties.

When hunting in a box or ground blind I'll cut it on for a while and then cut it off, and only relight once they start to come back.

If I leave it on it will start to irritate my throat- which can't be great to breath- it doesn't run mosquitoes off, it kills them. I've used it to drop dormant wasp in the predawn.
