Another snake ID

My neighbor spotted this guy in her garden and freaked out. Short story, she came and got me wanting me to kill it, explained it was good snake so after it ate I grabbed it and relocated it across her fence without harming it. Snake was not aggressive at all. I think it may be a king snake but just wanted to make sure so here I am. What does the gs say.

Well he sure did get himself a rat.

Hard to tell in the photo, due to glare, but I see the telltale pattern of a Texas Rat Snake (Pantherophis obsoletus lindheimeri).
