I broke a latch on my 75 Qt Brute cooler. Emailed them and offered to buy a new latch. Had a response within the hour saying no way would I pay for the latch. A couple of days later two new latches arrived in the mail. Brutes and their customer service are awesome!

We experienced some inconsistencies with our latch production over the past 6 months. We test all latches to 70 pounds of pressure with a typical breaking point around 170 pounds. Occasionally, they would break too easy and we'd have to send replacements.
We're excited to say we've changed to a new manufacturing process that's made them even tougher than before. They'll have a better consistency and a higher breaking point.

My kids WERE bad about leaving my latches unlatched and then I think someone caught it walking by since they kinda stick out and are in a vulnerable state. I called and they had me just run by their shop in Keller and pick up a new latch since I needed it the next weekend for a family trip. Very cool company and still really happy with my old school Brute
