Need advice ASAP Coon hunting over feeder at night using red light

Very stupid question but I have a red 3 light led set up. Hunting over a feeder. Do you keep red light on all the time or just when you think you see them?

I've always used spot light or flood lights to walk up on coons. They aren't spooked by white light and in my experience, neither are hogs. Just shine the spot light or flash light where you can see their beady glowing eyes and aim for the spot between them. I have walked within 15 yards of one with a yellow, cheapo handheld flashlight from walmart and took it with an air rifle. kept light on it the whole time.

Just light them up any way you want as the 100's of coons that I have shot with a red light while pig hunting have never ran from it.

So bottom line is just don't leave red lights on feeder continuously. Only been movement is detected.

Get some of the cheap WM landscape lights and put them up at your feeder. Pigs will take a night or 3 to become accustomed to them. I don't like motion-detector setups as in my experience, if the pigs are pressured, they spook when the light comes on.

walk to feeder in the dark then light em up and look in all the trees> Bright lights work the best lol

I have a light mounted on my video camera. I turn it on at dusk and just leave it on. Coons,Deer and Pigs just came walking right in.
