Guys, I climbed down around 10:40 am. Saw a total of six deer with 4 within EASY bow range. A 2.5 or 3.5 year old buck was skittish and never completely showed himself. I had a big doe at 15 yards but she was not as HUGE as the ones yesterday in the soybean field. But as time passed and she started to grow in weight....LOL.....I said if she presented the shot I would take her. "Low & Behold" a young doe bolts outta the corn and jumps on her udder..............the youngsters tail was wagging so fast I just could not bring myself to thwack her momma.
Guess I ain't as mad at them as I use to be!
Now a month from now her momma would be in a cheap Igloo icechest!!!
Looking forward to tonight's chase as this area is just screaming BIG BUCKS and DOES!
Oh, did I mention that a big doe was taken by one of the other bowhunters!!!
