....literally at last 10 minutes of shooting light. Watched her from 147 yards. I was ready to release at 47 yards but she kept coming. Then at 32 yards I was going to smoke her......but she had different ideas. Within 20 yards it was getting bushy, viney and downright difficult to see her. All of sudden, 6-7 yards away the arrow was released straight down for a second heart shot!!!! She ran about 250 yards with blood everywhere. Hard to believe she made it 50 yards let alone that far. 
I only saw 6 deer on the bean field, thus we all think they are after the acorns now. One guy did see a very nice deer but could not get a clear shot. He is thinking 160's with lots of trash.
I will be in the woods tomorrow as I wont shoot another doe even if she lays down for the shot! LOL! Giant Midwest buck time as there are only 3 sits left!!!

well, it is down to 3 more hunts!!! Headed to a new area and will be in the woods. Hopefully acorns are falling as it seems that is where the deer are headed now. The outfitters son saw a very good deer in here and no one has hunted for it. cell signal would be a plus but not counting on it.Comment
