    Archery Games Anyone?

I mean does anyone know of any...

A group of us locals are going to start shooting together weekly in a few weeks and I would like to have a game to play or something other than just shooting in rotation.

One idea I have is like Battleship: each shooter will get a piece of paper with a grid of 1in x 1in size squares. The shooter will them mark a pre determined number of consecutive squares with a sharpie (or crayon knowing us). Then we will draw numbers and like numbers will shoot until one shooter hits all the other guys marks. We will have a home team so to speak to give equal opportunity to each shooter.

This may or may not work! If anyone has a game/challenge we can do please post it up.

At first we will be using our personal field tip bag type targets. My plan is to take donations for each round a buy a large piece of foam for a permanent target.

    Thanks for any input...

      Apple on your buddy's head.
Print out a dartboard and tape it to your target or print out this and play 9 ball

If you have a good back stop you can start at 30, everyone shoot one arrow. Then back up to 40 everyone shoot one arrow etc. if you miss the target completely your out, last man standing wins.

Pin a dollar on a target.
Closest to the forehead wins the dollar.

I have had great fun playing Tic tac toe at deer camp. All you need is a target and make 3 rows of 3 one inch circles and shoot from 20 yards. Space them apart the best you can on your target so you wont have many missed shots hit the wrong circle. Of course only 2 at a time can play. How we did it was we would bet a dollar a game and the winner gets to stay and play until he looses. Winner also gets to shoot first the next round, the first round we usually just flip a coin to see who goes first. Sure you will have a few cats games but it will be very few unless you all are great shots and then you could just move the target a little further to fix that. I hope I don't have to explain to anyone how to play tic tac toe. LOL
