    Sighting In A Rifle! Help

I have sighted in several rifles over my life. My issue is my daughters riffle is sighted in for me dead center 1" high. She shoots it 1" low and 1" to the right. They are grouped. I always believed once the cross hairs are good and sighted in that is it. So my question is the differance between her and I which she is 11 the way we look through the scope, or is she pulling. Thanks for any help

If that rifle is perfectly sighted in like you`re saying then the problem isn`t the way she`s looking through the scope but that she`s putting to much pressure to pull that trigger brother thats why she grouping 1`` low and 1``to the right

Sounds like to me she is anticipating the shot and pulling.

If they are grouped, it's most likely how you look through the scope. Adjust it so it's on for her if she's going to be the one using it. Have it shoot 3" high and an inch left for you. Should be good to go!

Sight it in for her (meaning use her group). Her cheek position is different from yours allowing for her sight picture to be different. MOve her up and left and see how the grouping is.

              Could be either.
My son is right handed so I taught him to shoot right handed. He was always a little off target, we figured out he was left eye dominate and he started shooting left handed. Not sure why it would make a difference when you are using a scope, but it did for him.

My wife and I see different you have to let her sight it in.

I would adjust it to her.
All my guns are sighted in for me...along with all of my bad habits.

this depending on distance and quality of scope. But probably shes just pulling it.

Simple, adjust crosshairs to her point of impact.

You will be good to go.

Parallax shouldn't be an issue with proper sight alignment. If two different people are looking through the same scope with different eye relief, position, whatever, as long as the outer shadow ring is centered perfectly in the bezel, both should be on target.

I would say trigger control/anticipation, or one of yall isn't looking perfectly through the center of the scope
