    Arrow flight question...

Ok green screeners. Paper tuned, walk back tuned, and checked the tiller on my bow myself a few days ago. Bow is accurate out to 40 yards (as far as need to shoot) but haven't shot any further. My groups are good and aside from my own mistakes there are no flyers or anything like that. My question is..... I notice the further I get away from the target the more I notice the arrow looks as if it half cork screws (C shape) to the right one time just before it hits the target. Sooooo dumb question....Is this normal??? Bowtech Allegiance/68#/30.5 inch draw/31 inch .300 spine victory vap arrows/125gr field tips/total arrow weight 470gr/ I do not know my fps. GO!

You've just got more time at longer range to see the effect. Don't worry bout it.

No, this is not normal, and several things might be the cause.
Nock pinch by the loop would be the first thing I'd look for since you have gone through so many tuning processes.

This is not a good answer.

Some arrow deflection in flight is normal. If you have correctly spined arrows it will be minimal but you still might notice it. Based on your description of your setup, you do have correctly spined arrows. I don't think your "problem" is nock pinch or arrow rest as you said that the bow is tuned well. An equipment problem would show up when tuning. You might try to determine if the deflection is only noticeable with a certain arrow or two. It is possible that there is a damaged or otherwise bad arrow in the bunch.

            i'd say arrow spine
but because the turning has been done i would also say that what you are seeing is more the rear end of the arrow wobbling and not the tip
this is why you don't see the impact point change in the same C pattern
think about a rock in a sock, if thrown the rock still leads the way
try to check what happens when you shoot a heavier tip as well as a lighter tip
this will help you see if you are out of spine
if heavier works = shoot a lighter spine
if lighter works = shoot a lighter tip or live with it
that is a dang stiff arrow already

shoot with a lighted nock in the late evening. Your eyes may be playing tricks on you.

To geaux tigers. the spine is correct its not to stiff for that lenth. If anything you could be getting close to being weak. A 31 in arrow is long. If you have a arrow you can waste cut 1/2 to 1 inch off and see what happenstance

I still like my arrows to be at front of riser, but a lot of people shoot with the arrow around on inch in front of rest. That means you could cut th arrow down 2 to 2.25 inches.
