          It eats me up. I despise you fellas that get to work a set schedule. I'm leaving in the morning for work and won't be back until December sometime. Work sure doesnt leave much time to hunt.

              I'll pass on opening week, weekend too, for that matter. Now, if we were talking about the whole week of T-giving, that would be a different story.

                Everybody in my lease is there thanksgiving weekend. Kind of crowded but we only have 2 member that bow hunt and I'm one of them. First week of bow season = nobody but me there. Lol I love bowhunting

                  I guess I'm lucky. I take opening week, the week after thanksgiving , the week after Christmas , and a week to take a day here and a day there.

                        I won't be back to the lease until mid October. Maybe even later. There are only a few bow hunters so the place will still be quiet. I just can't stand hunting in 90 degree weather. I don't REALLY enjoy hunting until the temp drops.

                          we need Friday before off as well..drive time, a nap or two..not guna sleep good Friday night.....a good simple dinner....don't want to leave stand early...nap..a few cold one to relax...another nap..the TREE TIME!

                                Yeah, it should be, but it ends up being my busiest time of the year. I was in another postion with the company when I started back bowhunting ten years ago, and October seemed to line up nicely. Now, I had to fight to get time off for the Matador Mule Deer hunt at the end of October and the "H" Segment A.
