Wimberley Folks! Does the Blanco have water in it?

For our 15-year anniversary next month, my wife and I are looking into renting a house on the Blanco just outside of Wimberley (not sure which way). The pictures show a nice riverfront area with a good mix of shallow and deep, and the description says the deep area keeps water even in a drought. I just want to know what to expect before I book the place.

It's hit or miss. The normal deep holes have water but there is not much running in the shallows.

Good to know. I'm hoping we get a good amount of rain this weekend, and some more between now and mid-October so there will be a little more flow. Thanks!

We rented a place on the water off Flite Acres Rd. Any updates now that we've got some rain?

It is running really good at 281 at the park.

When are you heading there? With these cool fronts we've been having you better take some whiskey to warm you up. Water temps are dropping and when its only in the mid 80s outside that water is going to feel good and cold. Have fun. I love that place.

We'll be there Oct 18-20. The place we're staying has a fire pit and hot tub, so I think we've got all our bases covered!
