Got a phone call Saturday from a restricted number. Being my phone is also a work phone I answered. Conversation started as below:
Him: You the one who scratched up my car B?
In my mind: HUH? What is B, only one thing I can think of.
ME: I think you have the wrong number
Him: No B, you left your number on my windshield.
ME; No, I dont think so B
Him: Yes you did, who is your insurance company?
Me: Yo B, aint none of your business
Anyway it got worse from there.
I dont lose my cool much in my older age but I was ready to meet this butthead and teach him some manners. It appear someone hit this jackass in the parking lot and left their number on his windshield ( doing the right thing). And this dude dialed the wrong number and disrespects the person by talking like he did. If I was the person that actually hit him and left my number I would have to tell him to kiss my arse, as I did numerous times before I hung on on him though it wasnt me that hit him.
The thread about saying please to your kids brought this to my mind. There is a way to talk to people and a way not to. I am not near as redneck as I used to be but do think if someone talked to me in person as this jackass did on the phone, he would be missing some teeth.
Maybe I dont understand ghetto language and B means bro, but I sure didnt take it that way. He never called back.
And he sure didnt like it when I turned the tables in the and started calling him B.
