Yep, I'm one of em. Was gonna put up a thread like this but couldn't figure out how to spell procrastinator....was gonna look it up but, well, just kept put'n it off! I don't fret it much, my biggest deer weren't at feeders when I shot em anyhow.
At our lease we have noticed that the deer hit the feeder hard for the first week it is running, then they slow down. I said I was going to wait this year to start it just before the opener, but I couldn't so they will be on to the neighbors feeder who waited until the last minute on opening day.
I know the feeling. Trying to finish bow box blind so stepson sit me this year. Hoping to get it up Sunday and let things settle a couple weeks. Can't hunt until october 5th do to fair opening weekend. We'll see what happens
When ur younger, no money and more time. When ya get older an in deep into your career. More money and no freaking time!:banghead:
What if your younger, no money, and no time?!
I have to wait until Saturday afternoon before I can go fill feeders, set up another feeder in a different spot, set up and brush in pop up blind. Make sure there's nothing living in my tree stand that's going to surprise me.
No procrastination. Wasn't even sure I'd get to hunt out at Blanco this year. We just got the go ahead yesterday evening. My uncle had some sort of bug up his hind end. We are heading out this weekend to get everything going and may just skip opening weekend.
I just got my feeders running this past saturday but had my water station going for the past month. I was surprised to see deer show up the very next day at the feeder on my Covert camera.
