If a guy dry fired a bow and speed nocks caused a lawsuit, should we be scared of every moving part of the bow? If you're putting strings on a bow, will you discontinue the use of peep sights as well?

One must consider how lawsuits work. The case in question found the shop liable. But debating is not the purpose of this thread.

This sounds crazy to most of us I'm sure, but pykiller does not at all seem like he's pushing a product. He did offer them for free and gave us a heads up about how this sue happy society has now struck the archery industry. It's just sad that some dough head can dry fire a bow and win a lawsuit because he got hurt!

And let's not miss the forest for the trees here. K is trying to do a good thing and 1) warn folks of a potential danger 2) make right by their customers. Can't fault a guy for that.
