Scent block camo 1 to 10

If money was not an object ( which it always is) rank how important scent blocking camo is for a tree stand hunt!

1 to 10

10 being you are completely geared out in it or would be

1 being you think it's completely overblown, you use nothing but sprays or other products with typical non-scent reducing clothing.

only reason i buy the stuff is its quality gear. keeps me warm, well made, and comfy. it MAY help. but i have killed deer in shorts and a tshirt.... i DO always use dead down wind. it may not help, but it makes me think it does play the wind.... most important factor

And I need to say this. I have never ever paid full price for it. Nor will I. After season clearance at academy is the ticket. The stuff is overpriced till clearance season. Then it's dirt cheap

Nail on the head! I kill most of my deer in blue jeans. Staying still and playing the wind trumps all. Swirling wind will get ya, scentlok or not.

The only reason I have it is it is small
It slides into pack not taking as much space as other camo packs

I read Fred Bear biography, I found out he did not wear Scent Block.
I wear Scent Lok cause it works. Its like aluminum arrows and carbon arrows. Carbon is an improved technology, so I use them. I dont think Fred used carbon arrows either...but most of us do. Its all good!. If you like it use it. I use it cause it works. We all know we hunt the wind. The other stuff on the market can help but can never totally eliminate scent.

5/6 if you take care of it and wash and store properly. DEER HERD IN A STICK, it works and a little coon P. I always use these and have does and fawn dead down wind at 5 yards which works against you. I have been using all of the above for 5 to 6 years, they help if used right. But the wind will always be the best help

Some folks are just hard headed and refuse to research on their own but rather just go with what they heard about it. Carbon clothing is effective. Is it NECESSARY or MUST HAVE? Of course not.

But to say it doesn't work when it has been proven that it does it ridiculous.
