    Rubber boot repair question

TBH braintrust, I need your help. Saturday morning, while sitting in my stand, I noticed a tear in my Lacrosse Alpha Burly boots. It's on the foot part and is in the shape of a 90 degree angle......each side of the angle is about 1/2 inch long. These boots are 1 year old and to say I'm ticked would be an understatement. Can this be repaired ? By repaired I mean made waterproof again..........Thanks in advance for any info.

Only thing popping into my mind is hot glue gun....
Cover it and smooth it out.
Probably won't be pretty but should do the trick.

Get you a rubber tire patch kit and go to town with it.

                  X2 on this ^^^

Side note: don't try the hot glue unless you want wet feet.

Shoe goo gauranteed to work. I've used them on boots and waders for years and years.

We used to use the old hot tire patches but the new ones should work.
