First time I've ever picked up a wild snake lol. My aunt insisted that I wore gloves. I said I defuse bombs for a living a snake is no worry. It didn't work and I ended up wearing gloves.

Aunts and moms can be very persuasive when they need to be.

I'm just glad to see there are some tough men left that aren't deathly afraid of snakes. It seems there are quite a few on here that transform into screaming little girls when they encounter a little 2-3' rat snake. I can't imagine what they would do if they ran across a 6-7' snake like this.

Again, thank you for your service, and thank you for not killing a harmless and beneficial snake just because it was a snake.
