That's how we moved my friends 600 lb safe, furniture glides, don't have to keep repositioning them.

Dont roll the golf balls over a tile floor without putting down plywood. You will break it all to heck.

If you can tilt it up enough to get a floor jack under it to center, have someone keep it from tilting and pull it where you want. I`ve had to move my 4600# welding table and it worked for it.

I use 1 1/2" PVC pipe. 4 or 5 pieces will work fine, no damage to floors.

It will cost you around $200 to have it moved.

It will cost you a lot more than that for home repair damage or medical cost from throwing out your back

Course, if you're talking about moving it to the next room....that's different.

I too used 1 1/2 pvc but I rolled it on plywood. Didnt want to take the chance of cracking the tile.

I have moved mine inside the house using 3ft. pieces of 1/2 inch electricial conduit. This is a 36cuft safe that is a bit over 6ft 4in tall and 3ft deep. Did it myself with no problem.

Just make sure you clean the oil off the conduit as it will stain the carpet.

A buddy and me moved mine to my upstairs man room using those forklift straps. They worked pretty well for us. It was still a pain going up the stairs. It was pretty easy getting it in the house and to the stairs though. My safe weighs about 650

Thanks for all the input. I found a guy to move it for 100 bucks. Lucky day, I still have my back and the tile was safe aswell.

Smart move my man. Make sure the guy is bonded/insured.

By the time you buy that many golf balls and fixed whatever you tore up, $100 would seem like a bargain.
