Rut in February?

Was pullin out of work yesterday an a doe an a fawn that was no more then a month old trotted across the street... Seems really late for fawn that young??

We have several with spots still. SO yes, I believe this year has been a little "late". Who knows when the Fall rut will start. I'm betting it will be late too!

I've seen em chasing in February down in the hill country, fawns are just being born

I think it's been late all over because up here in Idaho there are fawns still running around with spots.
