    Stats on new setup

Thought i would share my new stats for anyone interested, and gives you an idea about the Mathews heli'm.

I now have the stats on my new set-up with Piledriver arrows.
I have the Piledriver hunter 350 arrows at 29"

I am shooting them out of my Mathews Heli'm set at 29" and 70lbs.
I am getting 269.4 FPS with the 466.7 grain arrow.
I am at a little over 75 lbs kinetic energy and .5578 for Momentum.

They are grouping pretty good at 20 yards, I havent had enough time to really shoot much but was able to get this info figured out.
This is a big jump in weight from my previous arrow at 293 FPS with a 388 Grain arrow. I cant wait to try these out on some big Pigs!

Good luck to everyone this Season and GOD BLESS!

Just remember, stats don't kill animals. It still takes a razor-sharp BH in the heart/lungs to do the job.

Yes, but he is going in the right direction for big hogs with a heavier arrow, more momentum and more KE to punch through. Most will find that with a heavier arrow that their accuracy and forgiveness will increase.

Besides, it is sure fun to tinker!

        Stats on new setup

You'll enjoy the results of well placed shots with that setup. I shoot the same setup with 1/2" less draw and arrow. I'm getting 261.8fps out of 481gr Gold Tip XT Hunters with 72.68ke and .556 momentum.

I actually did some "tinkering", as Mudslinger said, and was able to get 291fps out of a 412gr Gold Tip ProHunter. That got me to 77.39ke and .523 momentum.

Needless to say, I was extremely pumped about being able to shave 70grains, gain 29.2fps, and actually increase my KE. I'll admit I'm a little ignorant about momentum, so i don't really know what I'm losing in .032.

        Keep tinkering and enjoy.
