if the industry wouldn't welcome/have welcomed all the illegals and undercut the citizen framers over the past 20 years....you wouldn't have these problems...lol...ran me out of the business 20 years ago....builders made their own beds back then.

hope you can find quality crew out there that won't play the game that was played on them...

                    Your right

They came in flocks and then starting cut throating each other. Now they run the construction labor industry.

It's as busy as I've ever seen it. We are currently 4-6 weeks out on tile installs and hiring people as fast as we can. I heard a builder paying $6 a foot for framing labor the other day. Wow.

Sounds like I'm in a good place then.. Won't touch that $400k with 4ac and almost 2700sq/ft without skimping on the house.

I did have to wait awhile for framing here too though. I think it was almost 2 weeks. Must be like that all over.

Like I said its very strange for me! I came from a very good commercial compa y in Amarillo. Pretty much every trade union, to this, my Spanish has gotten pretty good in the last 3-4 months... But it's all about the $... Take it as it comes I guess

Haha! I'd build 60 houses on that!!! I'm jealous though! I grew up in a very small town, sounds like you have a nice set up!

We do custom cabinets per house and we can compete with any price there is. We can make it in 17 days from measure to install usually just depends what jobs are going. We do a really nice plywood cabinet with wood face frames for a really good price no mdf or partical board. You oughtta send us a plan and let us put a bid on it. You might be surprised.
