Nascar booted Martin Truex from the Chase & put Ryan Newman in because of the late race bs at Richmond! Exactly what should've happened but I never thought it would.

Gordon got screwed as well, but I guess they can only change so much. Truex and Newman ending up tied and both having a win made it easy to rectify I guess.

This surprises me too. All of the MWR drivers should have been removed from the chase in my opinion.

Right call for sure, Bowyer spun his car deliberate. I'm not sure he was thinking of helping his teammate Truex though, he was all about getting revenge back on Jeff Gordon from last year. Newman was going to win that race but Gordon's running position at that time also had him in the chase. I hate to see it happen to Truex though he's the only driver on that MWR team that is not a chicken S&%* driver.

Judging by Truex's emotional reaction after the race, I think he is the only one with MWR that didn't know what was going on. He benefited from it for sure, but had zero to do with it or knowledge of it I think. If they do indeed dock Bowyer 50 points in the standings, his chances of winning the title are effectively over. He'd be 65 points out of first. You're not gonna make up that many points against that many top drivers.

Aint gonna happen, but would be darn funny if Logano won the thing since he got in over Gordon as a result of everything that happened.

Agreed! I'd like to see Nascar take it further and penalize Bowyer even more.
