The folks that kill those rhino are not really hunters.
The Chinese pay big bucks to the dirt poor farmers to try to sneak into Kruger and bring back a horn.

The poachers are shot on sight by the rangers, no trial, no appeals they shoot them from the helicopter if they get the chance.

I have two friends in South Africa that were on a special poacher hunting task force…years ago. They told me several stories. I can tell you they killed some of those SOBes…apparently not enough of them. It will never stop till education breaks through. They told me of a guy they caught who was trying to steal something…their version of a which doctor told the guy to get naked and cover himself in leopard fat, and the police wouldn’t be able to see him. (For those who are wonder :/ no, it didn’t work)

It isn't just the animal market. The Asians and mostly Chinese re poaching lots of markets. They are poaching the exotic wood markets all over the world. If a permit is needed they circumvent it somehow. Trade with the Chinese and export of woods in certain countries going to China is strictly forbidden .

Someone should catch them and do the same thing to them that they did to that rhino if you know what I mean.

I travel to China often and have seen some stuff in those "backdoor" shops and fish markets that make you a little teary eyed.
