There are but two keys to the Bama game.

Does pocket pass Johnny score enough? The wr's are some of the best in cfb. Arguably the best group.

How good is the defense now that the entire team is intact? Losing Floyd hurt but thank God Everett is back.

Kyle is going to be loud. Bama had no experience playing in the zone. It is bar none one of the loudest, most intimidating places to play in college football.

If you've never been, whether you are an aggie or not, I suggest you go one time in your life. You can literally feel the energy and yelling on the back of your beck.

For me, this games difference maker showdown is Tra Carson versus Yeldon. Not Mcarron versus Johnny.

I believe this is going to be a 60+ point game.

Bring it on, I've already got Goose bumps!

^ Make a good point. Both second halves when Everett was back in the secondary looked MUCH better. He even had an INT vs SHSU. He's good.

Its gonna be loud...finally a game that the alumni side actually gets into the game and yells!

I don't know whats gonna happen but Bama won't face a more talented offense all year unless they play Oregon.

What I wanna see in College Station is if they can play well when trailing. We have never seen what ol Johnny can do when trailing in a big game which is one of the key factors to being a top QB. Can Manziel bring his team from behind?

Ole Miss last year with 6 Turnovers down 10 in the 4th with 6 min to go ring a bell Bob?

Sometimes people say things on here that just make me stare at the screen making sure I see what I think I see. Manny Diaz fielded the worst D in Texas history last year and followed it up by giving up the most yards on the ground EVER in a game by a Texas D. Yeah, Robinson is clearly not the worst. LOL.

I think he means Quality team, like top half of the SEC. Bama fits that bill.

Well if you think Robinson is an upgrade then good for you. Ut would be better off with a grad student over him.

The point is, he's not going to be any worse... They'll either continue to suck or he will line them up in the right spots and these kids will play up to their potential.

                      Where's Jerry Gray?!

So you would have a grad student over a guy that has two Superbowl rings? Thank you. I now have a tad bit more trust in the Texas HC to save the season.

Robinson's tenure as defensive coordinator with the Denver Broncos occurred during their Super Bowl (***II & ***III) seasons in 1997 and 1998.Robinson's Bronco defense played superbly during the 1998 playoff run. The Broncos defense held the Miami Dolphins scoreless in the divisional playoffs, allowed only a touchdown as a result of a fumble on the one yard line against the New York Jets in the AFC Championship Game, and then allowed a single touchdown to the Atlanta Falcons in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl after the outcome was secure.

Bama has played in much more intimidating environments. Kyle is a great venue for college football. But don't act like the Tide is gonna step off of the bus and be wide eyed at the crowd or the noise. For every kid on that team, every game they play is the other teams Super Bowl. Every fan base gets up for Bama and some of them have more intimidating fan bases and stadiums. It's not a knock. Just don't expect the Bama boys to shake in their cleats.
