Thoughts and prayers go up to the Golden family.
    I cannot imagine his pain.

Goes to show that the vote of confidence has NO bearing.

It was time for DD to step aside. The three major sports at Texas need to be addressed and DD didn't want to make any changes as he would leave that up to the new AD. DD was a great athletic director, but its time for a change at Texas.

The new AD will have his hands full with pressure to get Texas athletics back to winning on the field. I use to think that Mack would be that man, but without any experience I am not for sure I want to that. There is no doubt that Mack is a great politician and an AD has to be that.

The Louisville AD should be high on the list. Or, Oliver Luck? Or, Bob Bowlsby?

They will give him the bonus he was due next summer anyway. You have to remember that these two guys are responsible for all the cash coming in.

It had no actual bearing but he is assuring that he does not have to be involved with a decision on Mack.

No.2 only to DKR... He'll be recognized and I'm sure this will all be handled with class.
I'm sure glad we're not in the business of moral victories anymore.

Jurich is the AD at UofL. That should be the short list right there.

I hear the train a comin' it's rollin' 'round the bend....
Hopefully that's true. Definitely long overdue.

This would be a good chance for UT to steal Luck from WV.

Bowlsby's son is going nuts on twitter saying there is zero chance Bob comes to Texas. Hmmmm.
