Mechanical broad head for crossbow?

I picked up 10 packs of the NAP FOC 170 gr heads last year when Academy had em on clearance for $14.88.

Check your local Academy's now. I had one of my employees pick up the last 7 packs they had in El Paso and the last pack they had off 290/1960 and last 2 they had in Humble.

They are marked down to $4.98 per pack if you can find them. Cabela's and Bass Pro still sell them for $49.99 a pack. If you go to your local Academy they can look up and tell you what other stores in your area still have them in stock.

I have a quad 400 and shoot fixed 150 gr Magnus Buzcuts. They work great. Seen Rage and NAP mechanicals that are for crossbow. They should work ok.

Well them Jack holes. I had them check last month and they said nobody in texas had any.

i shot nap spitfires when i had my tenpoint, they worked well even on quartering away shot.

Just bought the 2 blade 100gr. Rage x bow broad heads I was told mechanical for crossbow! I'm sure it's prefrence though!

Went with the FOC. Shot a doe this evening at about 17 yards, from 15' up in a tree. Entry would was unimpressive, but he exit on the other hand:



Watched her tip over after about thirty yards. Didn't look to see what the blood trail looked like. Actually had half a lung hanging out.

now after seeing the pictures of that foc it's hard to convince one otherwise but I know that the holes that I've had from my 100gr 1" slicks looked like slugs holes.
