    Roll on bed liner?

Has anyone ever done one of these and if so which one and how hard was it? Thinking about doing my whole jeep.

I would not recommend the cheat roll on stuff. I would go with U-POL Raptor liner. It is harder and will last longer and you can make it shine if you want to. It's simple to spray on and does not take long at all.

The roll on stuff takes a lot of work to do. It will take 4-5 hours to complete, it's vary messy, so wear old clothes and tape off everything ya don't want covered. I did my mothers truck with roll on, I did the one coat the directions called for and it wasn't very thick. It looked good, just didn't hold up well. If your gonna go this route, I would try buying an extra gallon of the liner and put multiple coats. Idk how it would hold up with multiple coats

I recently used Herculiner in the bed of my Kawasaki Mule. It seems to be pretty durable. We have been hauling alot of landscaping rocks in it without a scratch. It is has a very rough and pointy texture. I wish it was a little smoother. Installation was a breeze. I used a grinder with a wire cup to scuff the surface, and used the rollers provided with the liner. I applied three layers.

Bought the roll-on Herculiner as well to coat my lease golf cart. From what I've seen/read, it's a great product. However, I'm just painting a golf cart and not a real truck.

I used the Rustoleum to do the bed of my Mule. Definitely takes a second coat to get it on thick enough.

the spray can is easier to use and seems to be tougher IMO.

I spray liners for a living. Go and have it done. Otherwise in a year when it looks like crap and is worn off its going to cost even more when they have to sand blast it off. Plus unless you're spraying it you can't get to all the little crevices and cover it evenly. We do about one whole vehicle a month and it takes us about a day to prep it fully and correctly and shoot it. Here's the last jeep we did. We also prime all bare metal to make sure no rust appears. I did it to my old jeep. I sanded down like it was no ones business, I sold the jeep 5 years after I did it and it looked the exact same. All about prep, you cant skimp on it. I forgot the exact brand but I also did 3 coats and I did a lot of 4 wheelin. Never saw metal.

I have been wanting to do the inside of my jeep. Has Anyone that used the herculiner brand also used the UV Protection that you apply after. Herculiner bed liner brand cost about $80 a gallon, but they have a brown color on sale for $40 while supplies last, http://www.247autoparts.com/store/herculiner_gq.html wish I knew what color brown it was or what it looked like.

What would it cost to have a jeep done. I have looked at the herkaliner but not sure what I want to go with. I'm def gonna do the inside before I do the body.
