Saved from a vehicle theft!

My friend and neighbor's wife saved one or possibly both of us from a vehicle break in and theft last night. She was returning home from a night at the movies when she turned the corner towards our homes and saw a pickup parked in the street between out drives and unknown people around our trucks. When her headlights hit the people and our trucks, they immediatley ran and jumped into their truck and speed off. Unfortunately she could not get a description of the truck except it was a newer model pickup with loud pipes. If they try it again and get caught by my neighbor, they will pay a steep price as he is a DPS officer, but does not drive a marked DPS vehicle and is basically loaded for bear with the firepower he has at his disposal. it too, have adequate firepower at my dispossal, but not near like he does. Fortunately she came around the corner just in time to run them off as there was nothing missng or damaged on either of our trucks. We were lucky this time, and maybe they were also! I HATE THIEVES OR WOULD BE THIEVES!

There are many other possibilities as to what they were doing but sounds like either way they were not up to any good.
