    Cabinet engineering types....

So I picked up this armoire type cabinet dealio, has the holes on the sides inside for the adjustable pegs to rest shelves on....now, I want to see if I can use the too quarter of one side to hang some clothes in...how would be a good way to accomplish this without doing damage to the sides?

Was thinking a strip of wood for each side spanning maybe a coupe holes on each end the dowel them in or peg all the way through strips and then use a pair of those closet rod cup deals screwed into the strips on either side...

    What ya think?

They make "cups" that screw to the sides that your dowel rod will fit into.

2x2 oak strips anchored to the shelve pegs with small wood screws thru the bottom of the shelf pegs and into teh 2x2's and then attach the closet rod cups to each 2x2 strip and then add your closet rod. Instant removeable, adjustable clothes hanger.

They actually make a closet rod that the bracket fits into the peg holes. Dont have to alter anything to the cabinet.

This. The peg holes look to be in the front and back, the rod needs to be centered. I assume the cabinet is at least 22" deep for hanging clothes to fit?
