    This may seem trivial...

But y'all keep a good thought for my Lab pup, Gabby. This morning, while refilling my daily pill box with the myriad of medications that I take (better living thru chemistry), I left a pill bottle of Meloxicam sitting on the table by my recliner. While I was at work and the wife ran to town to run some errands Gabby did what all Lab pups do- she got ahold of the pill bottle and chewed it open. The wife came home and found pills scattered across the floor. We don't know how many she may have ingested so the vet told the wife to give her hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. Debra did that but said her eyes didn't look good so Gabby is at the vet tonight on an IV to try to flush it out of her system. Debra is scared we will lose her but I told her not to worry- she was in good hands. Privately, I don't think I could take it (and I know my wife can't) if we lost another Lab after burying our other Lab just six months ago.

Nothing trivial at all about the love between a dog and a man.

    Good thoughts your way bud.

Sorry bout your pup bud, hope she makes it through. FWIW, a bud had a dog at his dads house when we were in high school and she got into a whole bottle of Advil and made it through.

Prayers for your pup. Our dachshund had back surgery forms the second time last week. It's a sick feeling when they're hurt

Nothing trivial about that. Prayers up. My little terrier got into some rat bait when she was about 9mos old. Luckily I was there and heard her scratching at the package. Fortunately the vet is only about 5min away. I rushed her down there and they made her vomit. No ill side affects to this day.
