    Broke Down and in Disrepair

While visiting the Miller country cemetery outside of Athens, TX where mom is buried I just had to take a pic of this...

I wonder what this soldier would think about our current administration? The broken down flag on his grave marker reminds me of how much in disrepair our country is...

I think about that question (What would the men and women who died for this country think if they saw our country today) in the state it is in today. Very sad days and I do not see it getting any better. This administration has done more to harm the USA than any other administration in my opinion. Maybe others will not agree but that is the way I see it.

      That is deep.
At some point the 'upright' people will need to take it back, while they can.

Sad part is that it's worst than most people are willing to believe...

They would call men out for their inability to see wrong and attempt to right it. They would see a nation that no longer understands "We the People." RIP

I dont see it as a testament to the administration.... more as a testament to Jack's life.... We are going through some rough times with the loss of a students life this week so maybe Im in an altered state of thinking... But,

World War II was no picnic. That flag represents what he fought and died for, with all its imperfections and ugliness included. Life isnt easy especially in the early 1900's World at war, Great Depression... I bet to Jack a beat up barely clinging on flag was a prized possession of the time. That flag is leaning, not broke. Its ripped, but its not torn apart. Its standing, weathered against the elements.

Sometimes the World is terrible because we are determined to see it that way. The one thing you can change in the scenario is your perception. Just a thought.

Good thoughts, Coach! But at the time when I took the pic this morning I wasn't seeing it from the perception. Good thoughts, though, good thoughts!

It doesn't help that we have a Godless dictator for a President.
