If that is all then they are missing some counties that should be banned!

Nolan and Fisher come to my attention.

                        dangit.

I've got seven huge brush piles I'm tired of looking at -- it rained last night, but you couldn't tell this morning.

                          Burn ban here in Grayson.
I didnt think it was all that bad until Sunday evening. Was on the back porch watching the lightning show on the river and next thing you know the area was up in flames. Not sure how many acres burned but one trailer was a complete loss and luckily a dozen other structures were saved by the volunteer fire departments. Flames were huge and lit up the sky.

The state has an index, KBDI, that they have to follow when taking moisture measurements. When certain numbers are reached, then the county can enact a burn ban, if these numbers are not reached then a burn ban cannot be issued no matter what the county says. Basically if a burn ban is issued without reaching certain numbers on the KBDI, then what they are doing is going against state regulations. Unfortunatley some parts of a county may be very dry and other parts may not be but the KBDI affects the entire county, not just parts.
