Consensus on a Sitka...

That is a dark whitetail. She even has her fawn with her in both pics lol

Have you seen a sika fawn next to a WT fawn? I am not sure about you, but it is hard for me to tell the difference...

It looks like a 100% sika to me. Unless I was really hungry or I though another hunter would shoot her, I would let her walk.

Looks like a sika to me, definitely not a wt. Rear is a completely different shape. I am assuming that those that said wt because of the fawn do not realize that both sika and red deer fawns are red/orange w/ spots.

za221 and i check cams again i will hope to get better pics of her,


theres a high fence place a few miles down from us, so i think she was an escape artists.

I dont think shes bred havent seen any others of her kind, sure would be nice!!

does anyone have any sitka bucks they wanna loan us so we can breed her lol
