New lease set-up complete!

My son and I got set up on the new place in Crowell this Sat. My gosh it was so hot I could hardly stand it! It was 107*F, no wind, no cloud cover. We set up 2 box blinds and 2 feeders, moved a feeder, scouted, trimmed trees. We drank probably a case of waters, 6 gatorades a piece.
It was all worth it though once we finished, both have really good looking spots. Just hope the deer think so too!
I asked myself, Why do we do all this work? I never really know a good answer, other than I just love it! We are excited to hunt and looking forward to a great season. I hate the drive, but it is just a neccessary evil I guess. Dang fuel will cost more than the lease fee!
Got a great dove hunt in Sun. morn., both got limits, and still had birds flying in when we left.

Great deer out in that country. I have a lease between benjamin and knox city, we limited out saturday morning in 2 hours.

I would completely agree it was extremely hot, between three people that were riding around in my mule, we drank a case of water two cases of gatorade, plus adult beverages.

Glad we didnt have to set up any stands, but did have to fix 5 feeders. Goodluck this season
