Feeder light deal alert

Red, or green is over rated. I have hunted with red, green, and clear lights. If they associate the light with danger than as soon as you flick any light hogs scatter. Trick is to leave it out there. I do that with a solar feeder light. After a fewdays most of the hogs don't spook to the light but I have noticed the older bigger ones stay in the shadows and don't come out into the clear light. At least where I hunt and they get pressured heavily.

Just position the lights so they point from you towards the feeder and not in your eyes or from left/right (shadows are confusing if you are using a rifle from 100 yds away).
