    Pet deer

My daughter (who was sitting under the corn feeder, not in pic) asked if we could take her home! Funny thing is I kept telling the kids to try to be quiet. Guess I should tell them to make more noise! She did spook out of there when I started moving around.

Haha. That deer better wise up a little. It's funny how some will spook at the very slightest noise or movement then others won't leave when you yell at them. Crazy deer.

That's cool!! Never had one be that bold. I've had a few hang in the tree line waiting for me to leave though.

we have a doe with twins every year, she hears us drive up or filling the feeder and comes running in. We try not to shoot her since she is teaching her young ones to not be afraid of the truck (has a tailgate feeder). Have about 5 that just come screaming in now when the feeder goes off.

Its crazy what deer will adjust to. When Im digging arrowheads with the skidsteer running, A tractor running , and the sifter banging around, the dang bachelor group will walk eight out and start feeding! I cant yell loud enough ton run them away.

I've been feeding deer at my house for six years now and they will let me get within 10 ft of them. All I gota do is walk outside and put some corn in the bucket and they come running. Have 20-30 deer in my yard every evening. They will follow me around waiting for me to put corn out.

That's very neat. We had one like that once. Buddy would follow you to the feeder and wait for us to hand corn. The neighbors got him as a 3 year old 9 pt.

On my old lease in Harper I shot a doe that had twins. Her twins never really left the area and would come running anytme the feeder went off. Even if I was testing it. They would run up to about 10 feet away and just watch. We left that ranch when the palce sold so I figure the new owner shot them...LOL.

Here is our "pet". She works part-time as umpire for corn. She has a huge strike zone

This one is at my house. He would let my wife get real close to him but not me. I think he could sense the apex predator in me.
