    Treestand height and low poundage

My nephew is shooting 40lbs. This will be his first year bowhunting. Of the options that I have,
I can go with a 15ft 2 man ladder stand, or I can do the hang-on route with two stands on the tree to get higher up if need be. I personally like my stands around the 20-25ft range.

At what point do you think the shot angle becomes problematic in regards to height ? His max range is about 20-25yds.

Any past 25 can make it a very steep shot for anything under 20 yds out and I wouldn't shoot any further out pulling 40#. 15 ft up shooting within 20 yds is a great angle!!!!!

Can you go with a pop up? I would rather go that route if I had a beginner and I was with him.
