Isn't it great that dove season opened!
I live out of the city limits but only on a 1 acre tract in a neighborhood. I backup to a county road and the person behind me has 5 acres. Evidently his son invited friends over to dove hunt. They are standing along the front of the property blasting away which puts them only about 60 yards from the back of my house.
I'm not complaining. I'm glad to see them doing it. i'll be doing the same later today not too far from here.
