I bought one bag because there wasn't any corn available. The deer ate the corn and left the pellets. I'm in South Carolina though so results may be different.

We bought a couple bags of corn from TSC once without paying full attention to it. It had some protein pellets in it (wasn't 50% more like 10%) Was a little concerned it might clog up a feeder. It didn't, but again, there weren't a lot of pellets. I might still be concerned about flinging a higher ratio mix.

The fact that it says Primos on it is what would make me keep walking down the aisle.

Similar to Horn Corn. Our deer picked the corn out and let the pellets lay.

If you are wanting to 'grow' deer.. use protein.
If you are attracting deer.. use corn (unless you can afford to use protein year round and it makes sense to you..)

Only time we mix...is at end of season, when we use left over corn in first fill of protein feeders in a 70-30 mix per feeder.

My suggestion is never put any type of protein in your spinning feeder or you'll spend more time with unclogging than throwing
