Going CD-Less in your vehicle stereo

I'm gonna do it. Everything I listen to is MP3 on a Walkman or Thumbdrive anyway.

Haven't listened to a CD in my truck for years. Got sick of the clutter and have just been plugging in the Walkman.

I wanted to replace the factory unit with something that would make MP3 Playing more convenient and be upgradeable to add Satellite and Digital Radio in the future.

At first I was surprised to find units that didn't have CD players in them. After I thought about it, it makes sense.

Anybody else gone this route? How do you like it?

Mine has a CD player, but it also has Bluetooth and USB. I use all of them.

My Ford has had the same 6 cd's in the changer since I bought it. Still listen to them fairly often, but usually I plug in my phone.

My work truck has never seen a CD. All mp3 and radio

I've never used my CD player. I don't even need FM.
