Did a little white oak scouting yesterday

Went to one of my leases in Nacogdoches county yesterday to pull cards out of the cameras and took my binoculars to check out the white oaks and found no acorns. If the white oak in my backyard is any indication this will be a bad year for us. I have a huge white oak in my yard right behind my house that has had acorns every year for the 18 or so years I have lived there- none this year. Maybe this will be the year I catch one around a feeder.

o i bet there will be some on the trees , Was at my Dads house the other day and he has 4 huge oak trees around his house . Grabbed a low limb and there they were . This was in Falls co and i think ya'll have had more rain than we have ?

Got three oaks in my yard and not a single acorn. I'm hoping this is the year! We normally have so many acorns that feeding is totally pointless.
