License reminder !!!

Today, I was in Wally World with the wife and spotted a couple of boxes of 9mm, so I'm standing there waiting on the clerk to finish with another customer so I can buy them. Then it dawned on me that the customer was waiting for his license renewal. So, I got in line and since I turned 65, my super combo cost was down to $32 (whoo hooo). Another customer told me he came from Academy where the line was extremely long...partly due to having to pay for it first (with all the other customers) and then lining up at the license terminal. Wally World did the license thing first, then you went to the register to pay for it, which makes more sense (imagine that at WW).

The 12-13 licenses expire tomorrow, so if you haven't renewed yet, ya better get with it!

Got mine the morning of the 15th - it's a family ritual that guarantees lines are short at the gas station where we get ours.

Just picked mine up at the regional tpwd office. Always pleasurable to buy there. No line, knowledgeable people, officer usually on hand if you have a question.
