Yearly questions for kids

Every year at the beginning and end of the school year I ask my kids some simple questions. The answers are pretty funny. It is kind a quick shot into thier mind at that moment. For years I said I am going to have them write it down and/or video it. I finally started this year.

The questions are basic:
Who is your best friend?
What is your favorite thing to do?
What do you want do for a living?
Where do you want to live?
Where do you want to go to college?
What was your favorite thing you did this past school year or past summer?

I think they will really enjoy it when they are older. It is amazing how things change in just months.

Best friends are basically the same, favorite thing to do is usually the current sport they are in, they usually want to live in the state of our most current vacation, college is usually where their friends want to go, but this year it changed to "Where did you go dad", and "anm". Say the letters and you will know what it is.

The best one is what they want to do for a living. You get the standard police, fireman, teacher, but this year I got "something easy" and "signlanguage teacher".

It is amazing how their mind changes and some day they will be too cool for dad's games, but it is fun while it lasts.
