Need Reviews - Rio Shotgun Shells from Academy

I shot a few Rio 12 gauge shells 7 1/2 shot a couple years ago that were bought online by a friend and had never heard of them. Have any of you tried these? I bought two cases at Academy in San Antonio and cant seem to find any reviews online for this specific load. Let me know what yall think?

They're cheap shells and some guns don't like them. I won't shoot them or super speeds.

I've been shooting rios in recent years, really good shells but I shoot 1-1/8oz. Alot easier to find the blue shells too.

I love them. Get the 11/8 oz load they are a little hotter and shoot great. Buddy of mine has a Stoger that has issues with light loads gave him some Rio's and no more issues.

1oz=1250fps
11/8oz=1350fps
Cabelas has the 11/8 shells

Just because they say Rio doesn't make them good anymore.

Rio was a high end shell at one time.

You get what you pay for when it comes to shells that an automatic will like.

O/U and pumps will eat anything.

My 20 ga Benelli auto loves them....I like them and the Rem ShurShots.

Blue shells are way easier to find. My auto likes them.

I always thought them to be high end shells... Shot them growing up but haven't in several years.

Ive got a new Winchester SX3.. And haven't shot any rounds thru it yet. I'm a bit nervous to shoot these and have issues.

Another reason to shoot an over/under. If a load goes bang, it works in your gun. I've shot Rios several times. Birds die.

I just bought some...hope I dont regret it but my pump shouldnt have any issues

My citori will shoot any shell but my Charles Daily O/U won't. I haven't shot my new semi-auto yet so I bought AA's for it.
