    Plant ID

Found these all over a creek bottom at the lease. They're about 3-4' tall there were lots of them scattered sporadically and all stripped clean. Any ideas?Click image for larger version

does it smell like cat pee? if so, it might be sesbania. or maybe retama? is it only growing in wet areas?

Tomato horn worm can strip a pepper plant in similar fashion but not that complete.

                  Interesting

My thought as well. Took a few rose bushes from my mom's garden to figure out they work a lot at night, especially in the heat. And will also travel 200 yards to cut the said bushes

sesbania(family name) could be colorado river hemp or rattlebox. Probably the Colorado river hemp though.
