    Ruger 10/22 has gone plastic!!

The new Ruger 10/22's have plastic trigger housing starting this year.

What a way to cheapen a great gun.

That will make the older ones worth more. I am not impressed with there new Hawkeye series of bolt guns either.

Might have to find me a "classic" and buy it soon. That is disappointing.

In My Opinion The Rugers Have Always Been One Of The The Best.
i'm Not Happy About This, But Always Had Good Luck With All Ruger Products And They Do Stand Behind Their Products...but It's The Same Old Story Ain't It.decrease The Quality And Increase The Price.

Lots of folks replace the factory trigger group anyway. More will now. Volquartsen must be smiling.

I have always liked the Ruger 10/22. Wish I had never gotten rid of mine. I may look at the T/C auto beings I don't have a 22LR rifle at the moment.

Maybe it's time to get a Pre-08 Ruger?????? You'd think they would learn something from Winchester............

Take a breath guys!! Heck, the worlds best aircraft fighter planes are made of plastics!
Not sure what "plastic" material they are using but it may be twicw as strong and twice as smooth than ever before???
                    Just food for thought.

I noticed that they have also discontinued the wood grip Blackhawks, went with a plastic grip panel as well...just looks cheap to me.
